About the Role: 

The Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner’s (NP) role is to provide appropriate and safe nursing care to patients while overseeing and providing education and support to other Aesthetic RNs. The NP shall ensure the implementation of safe practice standards, continuity of individual patient care, and maintain a well-controlled treatment environment. The NP shall assess for skin aging symptoms or other skin-related health concerns and complete good faith medical exams in accordance with practice standards, administer medical aesthetic services and procedures and perform pre and post-treatment care, as required. The NP shall complete research to stay up-to-date on new procedures and protocols, through continued education as needed by licensure. The NP shall also consult with, screen, and schedule patients.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Provide clinical and professional medical services to patients within the scope of nurse practitioners qualifications and consistent with accepted standards of medical practice and consistent with the reasonable productivity standards adopted by the corporation and the nurse practitioner (KPIs).
  • Completes GFME, follow-up consultations and provides proper evaluation of patient’s history, aesthetic goals, diagnosis, and assesses previous medical history.
  • Creates personalized aesthetic plan for patients.
  • Prescribes medication when needed
  • Provide general patient care at the site specified by performance of accepted procedures and commonly used therapies and provisions of appropriate support services. 
  • Responsible for the quality of medical care rendered by the nurse practitioner to the patients of the practice and for ensuring that such care meets or exceeds currently accepted standards of medical competence.
  • Review and sign charts as required by licensing.
  • Supervises and upholds the aesthetic standardized procedures and safety protocols of the clinic, prevents malpractice and ensures safety of patients and employees.
  • Mentors and educates Registered Nurses in aesthetic procedures and best practice.
  • Provide periodic training or training collateral (videos, written procedures, quick reference guides etc.) for clinical staff (RNs). 
  • Assists the registered nurses and clinic staff with any needed task to provide the best service possible.
  • Orders medical supplies and aesthetic products and maintains inventory (dates/expirations of aesthetic products).
  • Check in with the medical director at regular assigned intervals via text, call, email.
  • Participate in the quality assurance and risk management activities of the Clinic such as maintaining and upholding accurate policies, standardized procedures, and clinical documentation.
  • The nurse practitioner shall assist in the marketing of the practice and participate in the professional activities that promote the practice: 
    • Builds connections with local professionals, businesses and creates referral systems.
    • Supervises medical aesthetic events and perform public talks
    • Blog, social media, content creation, brand awareness etc.
  • Professional and clean demeanor that exemplifies health.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Successful completion of NP Board Exams

  • Advanced medical aesthetic injector training 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical exams and orthopedics
  • Ability to perform telehealth consultations
  • Ability to clearly communicate with patients with written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to perform procedures and services on patients

The employment relationship between the parties shall be governed by the general employment policies and practices of Employer, as they may be amended from time to time, including but not limited to those relating to protecting confidential information and assignment of inventions and those pertaining to legal compliance and business ethics, provided, however, that when the terms of this Agreement differ from or conflict with Employer’s general employment policies or practices, this Agreement shall control.
