A Typical Day At Coachella
Waking up to chip crumbs on your chest and your friends chattering in the background. You step your feet onto the cold tiles and say good morning to your friends – they toss you a beer at 8am. You feel miserable and lousy until you get into the shower around 11am. Grab an Acai bowl which is AMAZING and refreshing – but you need an extra little something to get you amped to hit the Pool party at 1pm. IV Hydration is the best thing to do to give you that extra boost you needed. Packed with B-vitamins, amino acids, and vitamin C to jump start your day to feel as energetic as the 1st morning you arrived to Coachella. Pool party was epic and entering the festival was a PAIN. Packed, crowded, and soaking in beaming rays that drain you even more. Sunset comes and your phone service completely shuts down. (Too many snap stories/instastories) – DAMN it won’t send. Yelling at your friends to “Take another shot – blah delete- horrible angle.” “Now do whole body shots – get with it, but go from below so we look taller” Now the top performers are on stage and the wind chill is picking up. Exhausted from the day, you get your 3rd wind and get amped up for the after parties. Funneling in 1 by 1 into the after party – you grab some drinks and dance the night away. The struggle is real finding a way back home – flagging down random cars and offering ungodly amounts of money just to take you home so you can lay in your nice cozy bed. You need rest, some water, or even better yet an IV hydration drip!
Why IV hydration is important when partying at Coachella 2017. Dehydration is quite common at festival events such as Coachella. The blistering sun & countless alcoholic drinks leave the body starving for hydration. IV hydration therapy is just the cure – providing the body instant fluids to improve hydration and keep you feeling stellar throughout that long Coachella weekend. Vitamins and minerals get depleted rapidly from not only the heat but from the excessive amounts of alcohol and substances we put into our bodies.
What is in the IV hydration bag?
The IV bags consists of:
- B-Vitamins (B12, B6, B5, B3, B2, B1) – improves biochemical pathways that are often depleted with alcohol and drug use.
- Amino Acids – improves hydration status and optimizes metabolic functions.
- Vitamin C – improves detoxification and boosts immune system function.
- L-carnitine – improves mitochondrial function to increase energy.
- Essential minerals – Calcium, potassium, bicarbonate – improves cellular hydration to allow proper electrolyte exchange in and out of your cells.
- 0.9% Normal Saline – electrolytes to improve hydration status.
- Optional: Lactated ringer -additional electrolytes to improve hydration status.
Will IV Hydration really make me feel better?
Yes! IV hydration supports liver detoxification, breakdown acetaldehyde (alcohol), improve electrolyte balance, improve circulation, replenish depleted nutrients, and improve mitochondrial function (energy). Coachella is the perfect event to try IV hydration for the first time because of the benefits – Hydration (from the heat) and Nutrients for curing the worst of hangovers!
